The Petronas twin towers are part of 100-acre Kuala Lumpur City Center project (KLCC), one of the largest real estate developments in the world, created on a former British horseracing track in the center of the city. The development includes 18million square feet of commercial, retail, hotel, residential and entertainment facilities.
